The Centre was created according to the decision of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine from 18.01.2002 № 30 “The creation of Training and Consulting Center of Extramural and Distance Education of Sumy State University”.

The head of training and consulting center - director of "Engineering Training Center", PhD, Associate Professor of Economics Sumy State University, member of Ukrainian Academy of Engineering Sciences Marushchenko Viktor Andriyovych.

Under the training and consulting center issued more than 2000 highly qualified professionals working in various fields, holding leading positions in companies and institutions

Since 2008, according to the decision of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine with TCC is opened local center of distance learning, created the current system of distance education.Volume, structure, the quality of training students in distance form of learning meet the requirements of the state standard of education, which set for the educational qualification of the specialist.

Students can use Student Social Service, Students' Club.
